Open Data: Publicly Available Council Meeting Minutes

City Council meeting minutes are the only record the public has to know which councilmember made what decisions and why. The current version of the city website only has the past year and a half of meetings listed and publicly available. How can residents hold their representatives accountable when the decisions they made are not visible to the public?

To shed light on decisions made, we have made every City Council meeting minute from the past 20 years available here on archive.org.

We believe making these documents publicly available is the bare minimum. In the future, we'd like to see an easier way than reading through each PDF to track votes of individual councilmembers.
